Missouri Readers Award Nominees

Show Me Book Award

This is a statewide program for grades 1-3. Ten nominated books are on the list each year. Students need to read/ listen to a minimum of 6 books in order to vote for their favorite Show Me nominee. The winner is announced in the spring.

GKCR Book Award

This metro area reading program is designed for students in third grade. Nominated books are read by the library media specialist, teachers and students. Voting takes place in early spring and the winner is announced in early May.

Mark Twain Book Award

This is a statewide program for students in grades 4-8. Teachers and students need to read a minimum of 4 books in order to vote for their favorite book. Voting takes place in March and the winner of the Mark Twain Reading Award is announced in the spring.
