Overview

This is our last unit for 4th grade. In this unit, students will learn what an adaptation is and why plants and animals need them to survive in the world. Students will review all animal classifications and the different types of adaptations. Students will end this unit with a short research project on an animal that they choose. Students will need to identify the animal's adaptations, life style and other interesting facts. Students also get a look into the human body and how we adapt. We will focus on the human eye and brain.
