The Jason Weddle Award is given to the top defensive player each year. The award was previously known as the Defensive Player of the Year Award until it was renamed following Jason's death in an automobile accident in August of 1990. Jason was a member of the 1988 Final Four who was remembered for his defensive intensity and toughness.

The Kyle Zammar Award is given annually to the Tiger Basketball Player who best represents the character and passion for life and basketball that Kyle did in his life. Kyle played for Lee's Summit from 1998-2002 and passed away in his sleep in May of 2006.

The Jeff Brockman Award is given annually to the top offensive basketball player. The award is named after Jeff Brockman the all time leading scorer in school history. His 1937 points, 730 field goals, and 537 assists are school records that still stand today and rank in the top 3 in the history of suburban conference.
