Coaches

This is Coach Taylor’s 3rd year with the LSHS Cheer Program and 1st year as head coach. Before coaching, she cheered at Fort Osage High School for four years, and she was hired on as an NCA staffer before the pandemic. Outside of cheer, she is a High School English Education Teacher at Fort Osage High School.

This is Coach Sammy's 9th year with the LSHS Cheer Program. Before coaching, she cheered at Lee's Summit High School for 4 years. Outside of cheer, she is a Kindergarten Teacher at Underwood Elementary in the Lee's Summit School District. She is married to her husband, Justin and has two daughters, Kinsley Jo and Maddy Rea.

This is Coach Leanne's 10th year with the LSHS Cheer Program. Originally from Rhode Island, she cheered and won state all 4 years of High School, cheered in College, and then All Star. Outside of cheer, she is a Registered Nurse who enjoys traveling with her husband, Cecil and hanging with her 2 pitties.

This is Coach Kirsten's 5th year with the LSHS Cheer Program. Before coaching, she cheered at Raymore Peculiar High School for 3 years and Avila University for 3 years. Outside of cheer, she is a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Lee's Summit. She is married to her husband, Hayden and has her first baby girl on the way!

This is Coach Riley’s 2nd year with the LSHS Cheer Program. Before coaching she cheered at LSHS for 4 years, cheered at NWMSU for 4 years, and has been with NCA staff for going on 5 summers. Outside of cheer, she is finishing her marketing Degree at NWMSU while working at Ruskin High School!
