Robotics: Arduino for Grades 6-10

The Arduino Robotics program is designed to provide learners with important hardware programming skills that are essential for automation, robotics, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Through thisprogram, students will gain hands-on experience with Arduino, an open-source platform used for building electronics projects. By learning how to program and manipulate hardware components, learners will develop a solid foundation in robotics and IoT technologies, preparing them for future success in these rapidly growing fields.

Creative Writing is designed to provide a venue for students or learners to know the basic concepts connected to creative writing and be able to explore and enhance their creative writing skills.

This subject aims to provide students with opportunities that will enable them to integrate fundamental economic concepts into personal finance. It equips them with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed financial decisions, including budgeting, saving, investing, and debt management. Furthermore, this subject provides them with the necessary tools to understand various financial risks and prepare for long-term financial stability through a series of engaging activities and discussions.

This course is designed to help students develop strong public speaking and communication skills in a fun, supportive environment. Using techniques inspired by Dale Carnegie’s The Art of Public Speaking and Toastmasters principles, students will learn how to organize their thoughts, deliver speeches with confidence, and engage their audience effectively. Through interactive exercises, they will overcome stage fright, build self-confidence, and develop clear, structured communication skills.

Basic Filipino for Non-Filipino Speakers aim to equip students with No Filipino background with basic Filipino skills and concepts that can be used in everyday simple conversation.  This also aims to highlight and incorporate Filipino culture to develop love and appreciation for the language.

Learn how to design and develop your first video game using industry standard tools and techniques through a series of  fun and engaging game development tasks.

MATHEMATICS 6 aims to expand the students’ understanding of mathematical functions and problem-solving in the areas of integers, number theory and statistics  through real-world applications and problem-based learning.

SCIENCE 4 to 6 applies the different scientific knowledge and integrated science process skills acquired in their previous grade levels to enrich and strengthen their understanding and interests in the field of physical science and biology.  The knowledge and understanding gained from these concepts will help them strengthen their sense of faith, service and communion by sharing their awareness with others on how to become stewards of God’s Creation.
