Academic Camp Offerings for Incoming Grade 1

Art Sparks is an introductory art class for Grades 1–6 that helps young learners express ideas and feelings through drawing. Students explore lines, shapes, colors, and simple patterns through step-by-step guided drawing, allowing them to understand basic values and shadows while building confidence, imagination, and enjoyment in art.

This course introduces learners to Sphero Robotics - a fun, interactive way to learn coding and robotics. Through hands-on projects, they'll gain a solid understanding of coding concepts and design thinking principles, learning to navigate mazes, program movements, and design challenges. Learners will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills while working on real-world challenges. No experience required, but basic computer literacy is recommended.

Science 1 to 3 offering aims to introduce the basic Science process skills and to develop creative thinking and critical thinking skills by exploring the wonders of science through exciting discussions, demonstrations and unique hands-on activities. The students will understand the significance of healthful practices and learn essential concepts related to nutrition, personal health, and safety to enhance one’s well-being.

In Creative Dance, students will use their bodies to tell stories through movement! We will explore basic ballet steps and positions while pretending to be characters from stories, animals, and magical worlds.

Dancers will learn how to move with control, balance, and grace, while also using their imagination to show feelings like happiness, bravery, or excitement. Through music, games, and guided movement, students will practice listening, taking turns, and working together.

Filipino Baitang 1 ay naglalayong paunlarin ang kasanayang sa pagkilala ng mga tunog at mga simbolismo tungo sa kakayahang makabasa.

The program introduces children to simple yoga poses, breathing exercises, and mindful movement through play, stories, and imagination. Activities focus on developing balance, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness in a safe and supportive environment.

MATHEMATICS  1  is designed to develop young learners’ number sense, reasoning and critical thinking and problem-solving skills with appealing visualization and make learning these skills fun and enjoyable.

This fun and active class helps children learn how to dance and move their bodies through games, creative dances, and simple drills. Students will enjoy moving, expressing themselves, and develop a love for being active. 

1:00 - 3:00 PM | Registration Fee: 7,500

This introduces kids to the basics of piano playing, including music theory aiming to foster music appreciation.

Writing for Beginners invites young learners to unleash their creativity, giving voice to their thoughts and unique perspectives. More than just words on a page, writing becomes a tool for critical thinking, clear expression, and turning fleeting ideas into lasting impressions. Through fun activities, engaging stories, and imaginative prompts, children in grades 1 to 3 will build confidence in their writing while exploring the joy of self-expression.

Grade 1 Readiness is designed to strengthen young learners’ foundational skills in Reading, Mathematics, and Filipino. Through guided practice and engaging activities, learners build confidence in reading simple texts, developing number sense, and forming basic sentences to prepare them for a smooth transition to Grade 1.
