Grading Policy and Rules

1. Grading Components

1.1. Participation

• Full Participation: Engaging actively in all activities as instructed.

• Partial Participation: Participating in some activities but not fully engaged.

• Non-Participation: Not participating or refusing to participate without a valid excuse.
  
  

1.2. Uniform Compliance

• Proper Uniform: Wearing the required PE attire and appropriate athletic shoes.

• Improper Uniform: Failing to adhere to the uniform policy, such as wearing non-athletic shoes or inappropriate clothing.
  
  

1.3. Behavior and Effort

• Behavior: Adhering to classroom rules and showing respect towards peers and instructors.

• Effort: Demonstrating a positive attitude, putting forth maximum effort, and showing improvement over time.

2. Policies

2.1. Late Assignments

• Assignments submitted after the due date will have points deducted. Extensions may be granted for valid reasons with prior notification.

2.2. Make-Up Work

• Students with excused absences have one week to complete make-up work or participate in a make-up session. Documentation from a parent or guardian may be required.

2.3. Uniform Issues

• First Offense: Verbal reminder and possible minor points deduction.

• Repeated Offenses: Additional deductions or alternative assignments may be required.

2.4. Non-Participation

• Excused Non-Participation: Requires a note from a parent or guardian. Alternative assignments may be provided.

• Unexcused Non-Participation: Points may be deducted from the participation grade.

2.5. Missing Assignments

• Students should complete any missing assignments as soon as possible. Efforts to make up missed work will be encouraged.
