Meet the TEACHERs

I am Iyanna George,  "Ms. George" to many. I was born and raised in Brooklyn , N.Y.   Growing up, I spent  a lot of time  in my parents home country of Barbados. 

A little more about me:

My favorite text is:  "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you,I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41: 10

My favorite color is blue.

My favorite movie is The Little Rascals.

My favorite thing to say is " I love that for you."

Hello! I am Pascaline Nyobe Nyobe, a dedicated educator with 17 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree. This year, I am thrilled to be the 4th Grade Homeroom Teacher and the Math Teacher for grades 3, 4, and 5. 

I am passionate about fostering a love for learning and guiding students to build a strong academic foundation. 

My teaching philosophy is guided by the words of 1 Timothy 4:16: "Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers." Outside of the classroom, I enjoy walking, shopping, and traveling.

My favorite color is green.

My favorite fruit is pear.

This being my first year with this team, I am looking forward to a great year working together.

Welcome! I am Nadine Spencer-Elysée (Dr. Elysée), the 5th Grade Homeroom teacher and the ELA teacher for grades 3-5 this year.

Originally from Antigua, I've been an educator for over 25 years and am a lifelong learner myself, holding a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction and a Ph.D. in Educational Management. My teaching is driven by my mantra: "Empathize to Empower, Empower to Transform." I see education as a ministry and am committed to helping each child grow.

I'm excited to work with you and your child as we spend this year "Pursuing Excellence for His Glory."
