Lake Shore Music Department plans tour every 2 years, usually alternating between NYC and Orlando, Fl. We perform in festivals, visit major colleges and universities, participate in workshops, work with world renowned clinicians, and represent the Lake Shore Community.

Congratulations to the High School String Orchestra, Mixed Chorus, and Symphonic Band for placing first at the OrlandoFest National Music Festival in Orlando, Florida. The Symphonic Band returned home as the Grand Champion with the highest overall score out of any group. This is the band's 5th Grand Championship. Senior saxophonist, Sam Eschberger, brought home the group's 6th Top Instrumental Soloist Award! Congratulations to the talented students, dedicated chaperones, and supportive parents and school administration for another great tour.

Students enjoyed a weekend at Cedar Point including a visit and performance at Bowling Green University. The Symphonic Band received a Superior Rating.
