Prognosis

About 10% of people live longer then 5 years with pancreatic cancer, and 2% live longer then 10 years. Everyone is different so the amount of time you have left can range from 3 1/2 months to 10 years, maybe more if you are really lucky. It really just depends on the size and type of the tumor.

However, if the cancer is caught extremely early on can get a treatment and about 10% of people are cancer free after! About 15 to 20% of people who catch stage 1 and 2 cancers early on can have it surgically removed!
