CTE Professional Development Approval Process
Process For Professional Leave During The School Year
A Professional Leave Request Form must be completed and approved for engagements that require a request of funds including but not limited to subs, buses, travel, lodging, per diem, registration, etc. The traveler must submit the form to the CTE department a minimum of three weeks prior to the event. If applicable, budget codes will be added to the form and calculations will be made for advance payments.
See graphic that details the process.
All Out-of-District professional development (including summer and all travel) must receive pre-approval by the Director of Career & Technical Education prior to completing the Professional Leave Form and registration.
