My name is Tom Tamburello. This is my 26th year teaching at Lenape High School. I am a 1996 Cherokee High School graduate. In 2000 I received my BA in Mathematics from The College of New Jersey. In 2002 I earned an MS in Education from Nova Southeastern University.
At Lenape I am the coordinator for the math department and the Health/PE departments, the former GSA advisor, a Research for Better Teaching In-District Trainer, and the LDTV Picture This! Host.
In my free time I enjoy the outdoors-kayaking, skiing, rafting etc. Bowling is also fun. I also enjoy traveling. During the past few summers, I spent time in Yellowstone, The Grand Tetons, Maine, Montana, Puerto Rico, St. Marten, Dubai, New Zealand, Australia, Portugal and Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Germany, Austria and Canada (to name a few places). Of course, there is nothing better than planning a lesson or talking about teaching math :)
