Cite all information articles (databases, eBooks and websites)
To cite the Country Information page from the World Geography and Culture database
On the main country page, click on CITATION and copy the MLA citation
In Noodletools, click on NEW SOURCE
Select DATABASE and select BOOK or REFERENCE SOURCE
At the top of the form, click on QUICK CITE: COPY AND PASTE A CITATION
Paste the citation in the box and click on SAVE
To cite the Trafficking in Persons Report from the US Department of State
In Noodletools, click on NEW SOURCE
Select REPORT (TECHNICAL/RESEARCH)
Enter the following:
Name of Container website: US Department of State
URL: https://www.state.gov/reports/2020-trafficking-in-persons-report/
Today's date for date of access
Contributor - select AUTHOR
Last name or group: US Department of State
Title of Report: 2020 Trafficking in Persons Report
Report Description: select Report
Date of publication: June 2020
Cite any images used in your presentation
Click on NEW SOURCE
Select WEBSITE -- PHOTO OR IMAGE (born digital)
Fill out:
Name of container website where image is found (NOT GOOGLE…actual website)
URL from your website (copy and paste)
Date Accessed (click TODAY to automatically fill in today’s date)
Type of image (select IMAGE from drop-down menu)
Title of image (provide a descriptive title)
Any additional information you can find
THEN CLICK SAVE to save the citation to your Noodletools list
Cite any videos or other multimedia used in your presentation
Click on NEW SOURCE
Select WEBSITE -- VIDEO CLIP (online)
Fill out:
URL for the video (copy and paste)
Date of publication (the “posted” date on You Tube)
Date Accessed (click TODAY to automatically fill in today’s date)
TITLE of VIDEO (copy this directly from You Tube)
Name of Site (put You Tube if you used You Tube for your video)
Posted by (if a company or group, put this in Last Name)
Any additional information you can find
THEN CLICK SAVE to save the citation to your Noodletools list
