AP Test Review

How do I register and pay for an AP Exam?

• Students join the online version of their AP course(s)

  • Join codes are distributed by teachers directly to their students

  • Instructions on how to join can be found here: https://apstudents.collegeboard.org/join-your-class-online.

  • All Shawnee students in AP classes have College Board accounts, so they should not create a new account!

  • If a student cannot access their account, they should go to the FAQ section of the website and click on the link that says “What should I do if I have problems signing in to my account?"

• Students indicate in their College Board account (specifically myap.collegeboard.org)

  • Currently, all students in AP courses are defaulted to “Undecided.”

  • All students in AP courses must indicate if they will be taking AP exams by going into each course and selecting “YES” or “NO” no later than the AP registration deadline of Friday, November 1st.

  • When students go to their online AP course, they'll see a Register button in their class section view in My AP after they join their class sections. They need to click on that button and indicate their decision by November 1st.

Payment

• General payment information:

  • The base cost of each AP exam is $94.00.

  • If students register after November 1, 2019, a $40 late fee will be assessed for each exam.

  • If a student cancels an exam after November 15, 2019, a $40 fee will be assessed.

  • If an exam is cancelled on the day of testing, the student will be responsible for the entire cost of the exam(s).

  • Any exam that is not paid for by November 1, 2019 will not be ordered.

  • No payments will be accepted at in school, all orders must be placed and paid for via School Cash.

• How to pay:

  • Go to https://payments.efundsforschools.com/v3/districts/55243/ to pay for the AP exams they want to take

  • From the Welcome screen, click on "Pay for Optional Fees."

  • Click Continue as Guest

  • Enter the student’s last name in the "Last Name" field

  • Enter the student’s six-digit LRHSD student ID number in the "Student or Family Number" field

  • Click Add Student(s)

  • Click "Continue on to Optional Fees"

  • Click the arrow pointing to the right (looks like this: >)

  • Click on the name(s) of the AP exam(s) that the student wants to take
