Musicianship 1

Sight Reading - Numeric words for everything up to and including the rhythmic complexity of an 1/8th note. Conducting/speaking...2 hands

Scales / Arpeggios - 12 Major Scales and 12 Major 9th chords.

Solo Transcription - Perform Miles Davis's Solo on "Straight, No Chaser"

Music Theory - Ability to score no less than 90% on a computer-generated major scale and major 9th chord exam. Construction, Identification, and keyboard

Big Band Listening - Identify different bands / songs / personnel

Combo Listening - Identify songs by artist, album, and song titles.
