The philosophy of the Cherokee High School softball coaching staff is to provide a positive learning environment where athletes can succeed. Everyone in this program will be treated with respect, as well as opponents, officials, and fans. We are committed to every player’s success in the classroom, on the softball field, and in the community. The main components of the Cherokee High School softball program are: Character, Hard Work, and Sportsmanship. Our philosophy is based on focusing on what we can control, giving 100% effort and having a positive attitude everyday.

Maintain integrity, respect for yourself and team, and your sense of humor. And no matter what always show sportsmanship in victory and defeat.
