A local company with a global reach.

With corporate headquarters in Houston, the Cameron LNG liquefaction project is located just outside the small southwest Louisiana town of Hackberry straddling the boundary between Calcasieu and Cameron Parish. The Calcasieu River cradles our facility amidst peaceful marsh and swampland, just 18 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico.

Our name originates from Cameron Parish, known for its many lakes, wildlife refuges and natural beauty. Cameron Parish is also the largest of Louisiana’s parishes with 1,313 square miles of land and 619 square miles of water inhabited by reptiles of all sorts, fresh and saltwater wildlife, over 400 bird species, sportsmen of all types and local families. We have made a commitment to safeguard the environment in which we operate, and we hold that responsibility as paramount.

Cameron LNG’s partners are Sempra LNG, Mitsui & Co., Mitsubishi Corporation, Total, and NYK Line. Together, these companies represent extensive LNG market and shipping experience.

Opened in July 2016, Crying Eagle Brewing Company is a craft brewery with a unique vision, located in Calcasieu Parish.

The 4,000 square foot taproom features plenty of comfortable indoor seating made for sampling our rotating line of beers you won’t be able to get anywhere else. Step outside to the beer garden to relax and enjoy Louisiana’s beautiful outdoors while playing a game of washers or cornhole. Before the day is done, make sure you fill a growler to go!

After that we take a little trip down Interstate 10 to visit Bayou Rum. The only Rum distillery in the state that prides itself on the use of Louisiana Sugarcane.
