8/10-Kindergarten Boys attend

8/15-All Kindergarten students attend
● Drop off begins at 7:55 a.m. and ends at 8:20 a.m.
● Students will go to the library on their first day, both on August 10th and August 11th. Parents,
you are welcome to walk them to the library. We will have staff members showing you the way to
the library. Parents walking kindergarten students to the library will park and then enter by the
car rider entrance doors. Please remember to follow our LPSS clear bag policy. (We have shifted
to walking students to the library on the first day as they will not have an assigned classroom
teacher just yet.) **Mesh/clear backpacks are also required for ALL students in the 2023-2024 school year.**
● Administration will communicate who your child’s teacher is by Sunday evening, August 13th.
● Parents, you may walk your kiddo to their classroom on Monday, August 14th. This is also when
you can bring school supplies. You will drop off your student in their classroom then head to the
cafeteria for our parent orientation. This is a quick drop off meet and greet. We will have a longer
opportunity to get to know each other at our open house later in the month.

-During the first week of school, your child will receive an important S.T.A.R. folder with lots of information, including fees.
-Send fee payments back to school in the S.T.A.R. folder during your child's FIRST week of school or at your earliest convenience.
-Please pay all fees SEPARATELY (cash or check to J. Wallace James- exact amount.)
-SEND EACH FEE IN AN ENVELOPE OR ZIPLOCK BAG WITH YOUR CHILD'S NAME ON IT.
*Please do not place in book-sack - Only S.T.A.R. folders will be checked each day. Please send exact amount for each individual fee. These fees are sent to different accounts and cannot be separated. Also, send the exact amount for each fee-change will not be given.
