Homework will be written in your child's agenda every day.

Please check your child's agenda each night.

Math

A few homework problems will be assigned each night. Not doing it can and will greatly affect your students overall grade and success on the tests. It will almost always be problems from the Eureka Math homework set that corresponds with the lesson taught that day. Time will be given every day for the students to write down their homework. Please see the Math Resources tab on this site if any assistance is needed.

Reading

Students are required to read at least 20 minutes each night. Reading is very important as all of our subjects depend upon it. Students should also review material from Skills and Knowledge lessons.

Spelling

Students should practice writing the week's spelling words each night for homework. Words are usually given on Monday and the test is given Friday. Students are required to glue the spelling list into their agendas as soon as they receive it. If a student forgets their agenda at school, go to the Reading Resources link. Science/Social Studies

This year students will learn science for half of the year and social studies the other half.
