Application Process
Enrollment in Career Technical Education program is open to all students. Qualified applicants are considered for all open seats without regards to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, pregnancy and pregnancy-related condition, age, active military/veteran status, ancestry, or national or ethnic origin. In addition, no student will be disqualified based on prior academic performance or perceived level of support, including Students with Disabilities, English Language Learners, Students from Economically Disadvantaged Homes, etc.
Application Period- January 2, 2024-May 31, 2024

Hard Copy Applications are available here (The application is a Google Doc. Please make a copy of it, rename it, and type right into the new document. Or if you are more comfortable, please print out and fill in the application by hand). You can also contact the LHS Guidance Office for a copy of the application.
Applications due by the end of the day May 31st

Interviews scheduled June 3-June 7
All qualified applicants are eligible for an interview. To be considered a qualified candidate, students must:
Be passing 4 year-long classes at time of application (end of first semester)
Pass a discipline review for safety
Have 10 or fewer absences at time of application (end of first semester)
Submit a complete application
Program Acceptance announced the week of June 10th
If there are more qualified applicants than seats available in the program, then a lottery will be held on March 15th.
Students must confirm enrollment by June 17th
NON-RESIDENT STUDENTS
Students who are not residents of Leicester are eligible to apply for admission to LHS’s CTE Programs. Please be aware that residents of Leicester who meet the minimum admission requirements will be admitted before any non-residents seeking the same program. Students and families can find information on the Chapter 74 Nonresident Student Tuition Program online.
