Application Information

Enrollment in the Innovation Career Pathway program is open to all students.  Qualified applicants are considered for all open seats without regards to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, pregnancy and pregnancy-related condition, age, active military/veteran status, ancestry, or national or ethnic origin.  In addition, no student will be disqualified based on prior academic performance or perceived level of support, including students with disabilities, English Language Learners, Students from Economically Disadvantaged Homes, etc.

Application Period- April 12- May 31

• Application (The application is a Google Doc.  Please make a copy of it, rename it, and type right into the new document.  Or if you are more comfortable, please print out and fill in the application by hand)

Applications due by the end of the day May 31st

• Applications (hard copy) may be submitted to the LHS Guidance Office (Becker Campus). 

• Applications may also be submitted to Mr.Barry via email (barryc@lpsma.net).

• Applications (hard copy) may also be dropped off in the Middle School Main Office with Mrs. Barbato at LMS.

Interviews scheduled June 3-7

• All qualified applicants are eligible for an interview.   To be considered a qualified candidate, students must:

  • Be passing 4 Core classes (English, Math, Science, Social Studies) at time of application (end of first semester)

  • Pass a discipline review for safety

  • Have 10 or fewer absences at time of application (end of first semester)

  • Submit a complete application

Program Acceptance announced by June 10-14

• If there are more qualified applicants than seats available in the program, then a lottery will be held on June 14th.

• Students must confirm enrollment by June 18th
