Course Pathway

The Innovation Pathway in Business/Finance is a series of courses and experiences that will allow students to focus their academic program on a high need industry within our State and region.  The experiences have been specifically designed to ensure students graduate with academic knowledge and skills in the area of Business and Finance, college credits and industry recognized credentials, a post secondary plan, and a real-life, hands-on experience with an industry partner.  Please see the program outline here and a more detailed description of the various aspects of the program below.

Academic Courses

Students in the Innovation Pathway program in Business and Finance will participate in the following courses.  In addition to the program specific courses, students will complete all MassCore requirements as can be seen on this overview document.

Internship

Innovation Pathway students will participate in a 100 hour internship at one of industry partners.  Our industry partners have agreed to intern our students and provide them with a variety of experiences in advanced manufacturing.  Students will:

***Some internships may be paid

****Students that are unable to participate in an internship also have the option of completing a Capstone Project (through the Business Strategies course).
