1. probability

What is your current content grade?
3.5
What types of assignments make up my content grade?
tests or quizzes
How have you prepared for any quizzes or assessments? Has your strategies been working?
I have prepared by making examples of how to do the problem
What do you think your work habit grade should be?
2.5
What does your work habit grade mean, and why should you feel that it is important?
The work habit grade shows how hard you are working at school and at home. This is important becasue It is a goal for how you work and what you can do better.
Do you have any missing assignments?
yes
Do you turn in any assignments late?
Normally, I turn them in right after the lesson, but if I don't understand it, I sometimes turn it in late.
Why do you think we look at this information?
To see what we need to work on to show what we know, and do the best we possibly can.
How does homework impact your math content grade?
Homework impacts your content grade because homework can help you better understand the content for the test to come.
After the discussion about math, discuss the following:
Does your grade represent your work in class and at home? yes
What do YOU want your grade to be in math by the end of the semester? Why? 3-3.5, especially in work habits, because I struggle getting my work in ontime and that would be a very big accomplishment.
How are you going to achieve this goal? Make goals for myself for getting the missing assignments turned in, and create a carrot for if I accomplish it.
How can Mr. Tuke help you succeed? He can help me succeed by helping me stay on track to reach my goal by checking in sometimes.
If there are any questions, please call Mr. Tuke over when he is free to talk.
