Leadership Expectations
Students accepted into the Leadership class are held to higher expectations and must be willing to commit more to the Heritage Student Government program. Participation in ALL of the below activities is REQUIRED.
Conferences: attend at least one Leadership conference not hosted by Heritage (ie Fall Co, CASB, Nationals, Continental League, Jostens, CHSAA, Shine)
Community Service: attend Advisory Fall and Spring projects, and obtain an ADDITIONAL 10 hours of community service per semester
Fall and Spring Inclusion Events
Attend one athletic and one fine arts activity per semester
Summer Leadership Workshop: attend and plan
Welcome Back Dance: attend and plan
Homecoming Week: class song, Carnival, dress up days, advertisements, set up and attend dance, plan and execute pep assembly
Middle School: plan, attend, host
Make boxes for Thanksgiving and Winter Break families
Winter Spirit Week: song, dress up days, advertisements, plan and execute pep assembly
MAD Week: attend/work Staff Student Basketball game, obtain items for raffle
Wilder Conference: plan, host/attend
Teacher Appreciation Week
