Hello students and parents!  I am Mrs. Curtis, one of the counselors at Liberty Middle School.  I have worked at LMS for 21 years.  I absolutely adore the students and staff here and I know you will too!  I am a proud Kansas State Wildcat!  I have been married for 19 years to a fellow Wildcat and educator.  We have two children. Our son is a Freshman at K-State and our daughter is a sophomore at LHS.  

I love working with middle school kids!  I love the goofiness of middle school students.  Laughing and being silly with our students is one of my favorite things.  Middle school is a great time for kids to figure out who they are, things they are good at, and what they want to do as an adult.  Watching them grow and change over the 3 years of middle school is incredible! This year 6th grade students with last names that begin with A-K and all of our 7th grade students are assigned to me.  

I created this page as a resource for students and their families.  I will be updating this page throughout the year with lessons for our students.   I will also post resources I find that may be interesting to parents.  I may be throwing in some videos as well.  I am not a tech person, so I apologize in advance.  This will be a learning process for me,  I will need your patience as this old dog learns some new tricks.
