MAP Testing is coming up, it is so important that your child is at school and here all day long during April and May. We are asking for parents to sign up to help purchase snacks for testing. Here is the sign up to help purchase snacks for MAP testing. It is so important our kids are fed and have lots of energy during testing season.
As we move onto our geometry unit we encourage our kiddos to keep practicing any skills we've covered this year. That way we can be prepared as possible for our MAP and diagnostic tests, if you need any materials to help your kiddos practice at home please reach out!
We started learning about Missouri Government, we learned all about the constitution and even created our own constitution. We are created a star spangled banner class mural.
If your kiddo needs to work on writing at home please use our writing prompt tab under extra recourses to get caught up!
To get us prepared for our Market Day and learning all about compassion for others we have started a Kindness 101 program, each week we will be learning a characteristic of kindness and following an activity along to go with it. We have an opportunity for a family connection. See the information below!
We are looking for family volunteers for our career day May 27th, please read the link below. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1di7pLalNF6iIleObBgvUWbj2_DMNU-8DkiOwzuDLNDg/edit?usp=sharing

Don’t miss your chance! Your LPS student(s) could join Liberty Public Schools Director of Communications Dallas Ackerman in recording the official announcement for the first snow day of the 2026–2027 school year!
The announcement is pre-recorded in a relaxed, no-pressure environment, making the experience fun, comfortable, and memorable. There is even a special Sonic Snow Day Slush during the recording session!
As part of the prize, Dallas will visit the student’s classroom with lunch from J&S Pizza (generously provided by Foundation friends Jon & Katie Carpenter) and explain how snow day decisions are made. A class photo will also be taken and shared on LPS social media.
Click here to learn more and purchase raffle tickets. This is a great opportunity for grandparents and extended family to join in the fun as well!
