Miss Malott- This will be my third year teaching and I am so excited to be teaching 3rd Grade at EPiC Elementary. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Missouri State University in Elementary Education. Through my years at Missouri State, I maintained a 3.75 GPA and earned a consecutive spot on the Dean’s Honor List. My academic accolades, dedication, and professionalism also aided in my election as a member of the National Honor Society.

I was born and raised in Kansas City where I grew up here in the Liberty area with my two sisters and parents. I love the Kansas City Chiefs and Mizzou Tigers. I enjoy attending sporting events and concerts. In my free time, you can find me spending time with my friends and family (especially my sweet niece, Eleanor), reading, baking, traveling or trying new KC restaurants. I am passionate about teaching and making learning fun and engaging for students.

Mrs. Balke- This will be my tenth year teaching and my second year in Liberty at EPiC. Previously, I taught 3rd and 5th grade in Lathrop, MO. I started my teaching career in Avondale, Arizona. While in Arizona, I taught 6th grade for half a year and 4th grade for two years. I love teaching math and I'm currently working on earning my Master's degree through the University of Central Missouri. Teaching is my passion! One of my top priorities is building positive relationships with students and families.

I was born and raised in Tarkio, MO (a little town in the Northwest corner of Missouri.) My family moved to Lathrop in 2006 and we have lived in the Northland ever since. When I’m not teaching, I spend most of my time with my husband, Chad, my baby boy Evan and our three Australian Shepards. I also enjoy spending time with family, reading, and playing/coaching volleyball. I love sports and you can always find me cheering on our beloved Kansas City Chiefs! I’m looking forward to an amazing year at EPiC!
