Friday Folders
Friday Folders
A Friday Folder will be sent home with your child every Friday. You will find completed work, notes from the office/district, etc. Please send the folder back to school on Monday-empty!

Students will be using the Seesaw app to document their learning this year! Please sign up for seesaw family to receive notifications when your child posts something. You can even leave an encouraging comment.

We love to celebrate birthdays!! As a school, we don’t allow birthday treats but we will make your child feel special in other ways on their birthday!
Arrival & Dismissal
Arrival & Dismissal
Students will be allowed to enter the room at 7:35am.
The tardy bell rings at 7:50am. Students who arrive after this time will need a late pass from the office
Dismissal starts at 2:50pm.
Students must have a note from a parent or guardian or call the office if they are to go home a different way.

A full-priced breakfast will be $1.85.

Homework
Homework
Homework in fourth grade will consist of reading for 15 minutes nightly and practicing math facts. Additional homework may be sent home on an individual needs basis.
Scholastic Book Orders
Scholastic Book Orders
Book orders will be sent home at the beginning of each month in your child’s Friday Folder. Checks must be made payable to Scholastic. Please do not send cash. Parents can also order books from home by using our online Scholastic website. I will send home more information about this with our first book order.

Absences
Absences
If your child must be absent from school, please inform the office. If you would like to pick up your child’s work, please let the office know when you call. The work can be sent home with another sibling or picked up in the office after 3PM on that day. Please keep in mind, many days our work is very hard to send home without confusion. On these days, there may not be much work that a student can make up at home.

Toys and accessories that do not relate to the unit of study will be returned to the child’s backpack and are to be taken home. Please keep these items at home.

Conferences
Conferences
Conferences will be held twice a year. Our fall conferences will be parents and teachers only (no students). In the spring, students will be able to showcase their learning. If a special conference is required it can be set up by the parent, teacher or principal.
