Hello there! My name is Lacey Lewis. I have been teaching for 15 years, and have been at Schumacher teaching 4th grade since 2020. You can find me walking my fun-loving dog Luka, playing with my son Kauffman or catching a Royals game with my husband when I am not at school. This is going to be a great year!
Hi! My name is Kristine Schemmel. I have been teaching for 11 years. My first 5 years I taught third grade at St. Charles Borromeo Academy in Gladstone, I’ve been at Schumacher since 2017 as a fourth grade teacher. I grew up in Liberty, MO and attended LPS K-12. I coach Girls on the Run, love to go on walks after school, and spend a lot of my free time with my family.
Hello! My name is Madison Spedding. This is my FIRST year teaching. I am so thrilled to join the Schumacher family and the fourth grade team! I graduated from UMKC this past May and grew up in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, where I attended school K-12. I love being outside in nature, especially at the lake. My favorite thing to do is take my big ole baby, Bonsai (a Great Dane/Lab mix) on walks!
Hi! My name is Shannon Vicker. This is my first year as a 4th grade teacher. Prior to this year I spent 2 years as a sped para at Schumacher. My family and I have lived in Liberty for 7 years. Outside of school you will find me spending most of my time cheering on my 3 children in their extracurricular activities.
