Summer Orchestra
The middle school orchestra camp is for all incoming 6th-8th graders. If you are a 9th-12th grader interested in helping at the middle school camp, click the camp counselor button to the right.
The cost of the camp is $30 per student. Limited Scholarships are available. Please email Parker Stanley, parker.stanley@lps53.org, for inquiry.
DATES: July 29th-August 1st
Location: South Valley Middle School
Times: Monday-Wednesday- 6th Grade: 9 am-12:30 pm
Monday-Wednesday-7th/8th Grade: 1 pm-4:00 pm
THURSDAY--Open Performance at 11:30 am
6th Grade- 9:30 am-12:10 pm
7th Grade- 10:30 am-12:10 pm
8th Grade- 10:30 am-12:10 pm
Optional Main Event Hang Out (8th Grade ONLY)- 12:30-4:00 pm
Also offered during the 6th Grade Orchestra Camp Week.
Bass-ically Famous For Incoming 6th graders interested in playing the Bass. Students would come to the 6th grade Summer Camp and receive instruction for switching to and playing the bass. They will still participate in the 6th-grade Camp Activities.

Bass-ically Famous
Only for incoming 6th graders wanting to learn the bass. Some 7th/8th graders may also learn, but please talk to your orchestra teacher first. REMINDER: This camp takes place within the 6th grade orchestra camp: 9:00-12:30.
