I love being a part of this amazing school and this great community! I grew up in the Willamette Valley in Oregon and I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Western Oregon University in Music Education, K-12. I taught K-6 elementary music for 19 years in Portland, Oregon which included general music, beginning band and choir.  My husband's company relocated our family to Kansas City in August of 2012.  I have been teaching general music at EPiC Elementary since we opened in 2014.  I have been married for 29 years to my husband Greg. We have two sons, Grant (25) who graduated from Truman State and is a Chemist at Bayer and Jackson (23) who graduated from the University of Arkansas and is now getting his Masters at UMKC. My goal is for all my students to find their lifelong Fine Art passion!
