School Counseling Program at Alexander Doniphan
School counselors help to support students in many ways. We see students for individual counseling. We meet with groups of students for a specific reason: anger, divorce, grief, friendship, or study skills. Once or twice a month, I go into each classroom to teach lessons about things such as feelings, friendship, school, diversity, safety, and careers. The school counselor is there for every student.
The School Counseling Program at Alexander Doniphan is based on the Missouri Comprehensive School Counseling Model and contains the following components.
