Read-n-Quiz

Read-n-Quiz is a quarter-long (8-9 weeks) assignment dedicated to reading books and passing tests on our school-based system. 

Students... 

• set individual book goals with their teacher

• must meet those goals by the end of the quarter 

• keep track of this on a goal sheet which they must keep for the 8-9-week period 

Purpose

Read-n-Quiz is a great way to get students involved within their reading abilities and goals. We used to use a different program called, "Reading Counts," but it is no longer available. Read-n-Quiz works the same way. 

This is the largest Reading grade students will receive each quarter, so it is essential that students keep up with nightly reading, in-class reading, and taking quizzes during the school day.

First Quarter Goals must be met by Oct. 8, 2025

Second Quarter Goals must be met by Dec. 17, 2025

Third Quarter Goals must be met by Mar. 4, 2026

Fourth Quarter Goals must be met by May 15, 2026

If your book title is not available on Read-n-Quiz, you must fill out the Alternate Assessment Form below. You DO NOT, and SHOULD NOT fill out a document from the library.  This form may also be used if you have taken the Read-n-Quiz for your book two times without passing.
