STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. This fair will be an opportunity for students to tap into their passions while exploring and creating something that is meaningful to them. Students may create alone, with a parent, friend or sibling. Projects will not be judged and awards will not be given.
Participating students are encouraged to design and create a product from one or several of the five STEAM branches. Here are a few examples to get you thinking.
SCIENCE
A traditional science fair project answering a testable question.
How does changing _______________, effect _______________ ?
How does changing the amount of fertilizer in an aquatic environment affect the plants and animals living in that environment? (Like the Cherry Knolls Pond)
These projects should follow the 6 steps of the scientific method (Question, Hypothesis, Materials, Procedures, Results and Conclusions)

Digital Media (Video, Stop Motion, Slide Show)
