About Me
Hello! I am an 8th-grade Language Arts teacher here at Newton Middle School. I grew up in Littleton Public Schools and attended Lois Lenski Elementary, Powell Middle School, and Arapahoe High School. I then continued my education and went to The University of Kansas for a year. Rock Chalk! After a year away, I missed Colorado too much. I came home and ended up graduating from the University of Colorado Denver with my English Bachelor of Arts and my Secondary Teaching Licensure. I am also working on finishing a degree from Arapahoe Community College in Interior Design, a hobby, and passion of mine. Along with that, I am currently pursuing a master's degree in administration and Leadership at the University of Northern Colorado.
I love Colorado and all of the amazing things it has to offer. I enjoy skiing, hiking, camping, and adventures in my free time. I love to get out and do it all. My family and I go to the mountains often. I enjoy supporting our local teams the CU Buffalos and Denver Broncos. I am passionate about travel, I believe traveling Is the best way to learn and grow. Family is important to me and I spend a lot of my free time adventuring with them.
