Mrs. Malinksi
Welcome to Kindergarten!
I’m Mrs. Malinski and I am so excited to be joining the Kindergarten team this year here
at Runyon Elementary! This is an extremely exciting time for your family. I do understand that
there may be some mixed emotions going around for both you and your child. The first day of
school will be one of the most important occasions in your child’s life and I am here to make
that first memory of school a positive one to remember!
I am extremely excited to get to know all of you and your children. I believe that building
positive relationships is key, which is why I just wanted to take some time to introduce myself
to you. I am originally from La Crosse, Wisconsin. I moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin to attend
college where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education at the University of
Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2016. I have worked with children majority of my life and my love for
teaching has always fallen with the younger children. The last few years living in Wisconsin, I
was teaching 4 year old Kindergarten when my husband (Max) and I decided to make a big
change and move to the lovely state of Colorado in 2020. After moving to Colorado I joined the
management team over at Denver’s Kinder Care Learning Centers. It was a great learning
experience for me but I was ready to get back teaching in the classroom.
I love the outdoors and traveling. Some of my favorite outdoor activities include
kayaking, hiking and camping. Along with these things, I enjoy doing puzzles, scrape booking,
reading and play board games with my family and friends. My husband and I adopted a 9
month kitty in January so our life has been full of Seymour (our cat) adventures as well!
Please be certain that I am going to do my best to ensure that this year is an exciting and
an enriching experience filled with activities, projects, games, and lessons that will provide real
and purposeful learning. I want to guarantee all of you that I will do my best to provide the
most successful learning environment for all of the students. If you have any questions,
comments or concerns please feel free to email or call me anytime. I am looking forward to be
meeting all of you, parents and children!
