Keyboarding is an important skill that we will be working on for 1-2 days every week. While you should see some improvement in your skills with this practice, it is something you should work on during your own time to truly see some significant improvements.
20% of your overall grade will come from your practice and improvement in your keyboarding skills.
I would recommend the following things to improve your skills
- Use good practices whenever you're typing anything. That means fingers in the home position and sit with good posture.
- Spend at least 10 minutes a day working on typing. This can be done with your nightly homework or with the following practice links
- The goal is for you to be able to type without looking at the keys or even thinking about where the letters are. This will only come with time and practice.

- Dance Mat Typing-An interesting way to learn keyboarding skills
- Typing Lessons- Good lessons and practice games Also has a Chrome app
