Welcome to the Orion science website!
Well, we're back in school for the start of the 2025 - 2026 school year! Welcome back to school and welcome to your 7th and 8th grade science website. I am so excited for this year with you!
This website is strictly informational, most of our work this year will be either in Google Classroom or in our "textbook" (it's online, you won't have to carry any books for class, just bring your computer). You can find information about me, our curriculum and important links that you will probably use a lot (like one to Clever where our online text will be found, Infinite Campus, Google Classroom, Homework calendar, etc..) so make sure to bookmark this page as soon as you have time.
Again, I am so excited to be working with you all this year! I am really excited to start building relationships with you all! Good Luck these first few weeks of school, once we set up some routines we will start our curriculum and then we'll have an amazing year from there!

Hi, I'm Eric Andrews, 7th and 8th grade Science teacher here at Goddard. I have been teaching middle school science for 23 years, 14 of which have been here at GMS!
I have a BA in Biology from Metropolitan State College in Denver, a masters degree in eLearning and Design from the University Of Colorado, Denver and a masters degree in Educational Administration from Argosy University, Denver.
I love the content I teach the the kids I teach it to. I have a vested interest in our district as both of my children (John - 21, senior at CU Boulder and Kylie- 26, a teacher in Highlands Ranch) went to LPS schools and my wife, Liz, works as a 4th grade teacher at Centennial Academy down the hill from Goddard.
I am so excited to work with this years classes. I look forward to getting back into the school groove with an amazing group of kids! I promise it will be fun for us all!

Hola, soy Eric Andrews, profesor de Ciencias de 7.º y 8.º grado aquí en Goddard. He enseñado Ciencias a estudiantes de secundaria durante 23 años, ¡14 de ellos aquí en GMS!
