About Mrs. Bright

Mrs. Bright (formerly Ms. Newman) moved to Colorado in the summer of 2018 from San Diego, CA. She completed one year of teaching at Hinkley High School in Aurora before coming to Newton. She is very excited to start her eighth year of teaching as a Knight and can't wait to have a wonderful year.

• University of Colorado Boulder - Master of Music Education

• San Diego State University- Single Subject Teaching Credential- K-12 Music

• San Diego State University- Bachelor of Music in Music Education 

Fun Facts:

• Mrs. Bright and her husband welcomed their daughter Lilah to the family in March 2024.

• Mrs. Bright has been in choir since 4th grade.

• She loves animals, especially her dog Toast!
