INFORMATION NIGHT

for Gudy Gaskill Elementary

At Highland Elementary School

January 12th, 2022, 6:00 p.m.


Plan to attend this informative night to learn more about our kindergarten program. We will have an open house at Highland Elementary with tours of the kindergarten rooms and school, followed by a presentation in the gymnasium with our kindergarten teachers and Mrs. Dominick and Mrs. Baumgartner. Please pass this on to any new kindergarten families that you know.


KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

January 18, 2022

7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

and

January 19, 2022

7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Kindergarten registration for the 2022-23 school year will take place at Highland on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 18th & 19th. Documents required for registration include:

  • birth certificate or passport

  • copy of guardian identification

  • proof of residency (i.e. lease or deed)

  • immunization records

  • printed copy of your completed on-line pre-registration


Children 5 years old by 10/1/2022 are eligible for fall kindergarten. Contact the Gifted and Talented Education office, 303-347-3473, for information about early access to kindergarten.

Thanks to the generous support of LPS voters, work is underway to build the new Elementary School on the Franklin campus. This new neighborhood school will serve over 600 students in a state of the art building. It will provide purposeful spaces for small and large group instruction, creativity, and innovation. It will include outdoor learning spaces, three new playgrounds, playing fields and parking to serve the LPS community.
