Learning Support Services

Welcome to EPIC Campus!! I am so excited to be a part of this exciting and truly "epic" program! This is one of a kind!

I am the Learning Support Teacher and support all students with IEP's (Individualized Education Plan) when they are on campus. I work closely with EPIC teachers and case managers at home high schools.

The best way to get a hold of me is via email: mmcgarvin@lps.k12.co.us. My office extension is 303-347-4322, but I am very rarely in my office. I will make time for you and your student should you have any questions. My office is in the East Building in room 202.

A Little About Me:

I have been in LPS for 24 years! I spent the first part of my career at Arapahoe High School, as a Special Educator and an Instructional Coach. I just finished my 12th year at Littleton High School as a Special Educator. I am a mother of two boys; Quinn (23) who just graduated from CSU,  and Sean (19) who is a sophomore at Montana State University. Both are graduates of LPS.  My husband, Bill, is a General Contractor. I was born and raised in Wyoming where my love for all things outdoors came from! I am a proud graduate of the University of Wyoming (GO POKES) and still go home as much as possible! When I am not working you can find me reading, hiking, hunting, fishing, going to the lake, traveling and spending time with my family and friends.

I have loved all of my years of teaching. However, I don't remember being so excited to work. The philosophy of EPIC is completely in line with my beliefs and why I became a teacher. This is an exciting time for all of us but especially for your student. What an amazing opportunity and I am proud to be a part of it!

I do have a google classroom that has more specific information for your student. Your student has access to this.

Let's Do This!
