Meet Mrs. Vander Velde!

Welcome to third grade! My name is Megan Vander Velde and I will be your child’s teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. This is my third year at Peabody Elementary and fifth year in education. My husband and I moved to Colorado from Wisconsin two years ago and are loving the community, milder weather, and outdoor recreation! While this year will look very different than what we are all used to, my core goals remain the same: to foster a strong classroom community and to present content in a way that is engaging, purposeful, and challenges students to stretch their thinking. I am excited to work alongside your child to support their growth as a learner and individual this year!

Meet Mrs. DeLine!

My husband and I are Colorado natives and together, have two adult children. Our oldest son, his wife and their newborn daughter currently reside in Washington. We are hopeful that someday they can return to Colorado! Our youngest son was married this past November and fortunately they live here, so we get to see them often! We enjoy skiing, long distance cycling and sailing on Lake Dillon. I am thrilled to be part of this incredible Peabody staff and strong, supportive Peabody community. I look forward to getting to know your child this year!
