Hello and Welcome!
About Ms. Benson
This is my 13th year as an educator and my 6th year at Newton. As an educator, I value building positive relationships with my students and helping them grow as learners. I see my role as a calm, supportive presence in the lives of the kids I work with.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my two daughters, Anna and Alexa, and our dog, Mia. I love to run and I love any adventure wtih my family!
I grew up in Centennial, CO. I received my Bachelors degree from Miami University of Ohio and my Masters Degree in Special Education from the University of Colorado Denver.
I love the Newton familyl! I love hearing from families, so please reach out if there is anything you need!
