Hi! My name is Emily York and I am so excited and honored to begin teaching at Dr. Justina Ford Elementary! I can not wait to be a part of this community to serve as an advocate for my students and families. I was born and raised right here in Centennial. When the time came I decided to move to Kansas for college. In Kansas, I completed my Elementary education and special education degree at Benedictine College in the town of Atchison, Kansas. I am beyond excited to be back in Colorado and to be a part of the amazing school district of Littleton Public Schools. I have two semesters of student teaching working at elementary, middle, and high school levels. My goal as a teacher is to create a safe and respectful learning environment that fosters quality instruction. I meet students where they are in order to reach their individual needs and goals. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, waterskiing, hiking, traveling and spending time with my friends and family. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and having an amazing school year!
