Marisa Mitchell

I am so excited to join the Media Center here at Ford! I am a lifelong book lover - mystery, memoir, fantasy, historical non-fiction, adventure ... you name it, I'll read it.  Several books that I first read in elementary school are still some of my all-time favorites - I can't wait to see what books you fall in love with!

I have 3 kids (who attend Sandburg and Newton), a great husband, and the sweetest Aussiedoodle named Elbert. When I'm not reading (and let's face it, I'd almost always rather be reading), I enjoy walking the dog, watching my kids at sports, testing out new recipes on my family, and hiking and paddleboarding with friends.
