Supply List

Due to our unusual school year, students must use their own supplies without sharing with others. It would be helpful to have as many items as possible labeled with the child's name. Let me explain some of the materials requested...the specific colors of spirals and folders will help keep the student organized based on subject. Yellow will be used for Word Work: Grammar and Vocabulary, Blue will be used for Social Studies. Red will be used for Reading Responses. For students in my class, we have requested 2 composition notebooks; however, I would love it if each student had 5 would be better...if possible. Each notebook will be used for a different genre of writing. One will be used for Quick Writes that we call, "Brain Burst". One will be for Personal Narrative writing. One will be used for Informational Writing. One will be used for Opinion Writing. Finally, the last one will be used for Ficion Writing. The optional erasable gel pens are fun tools for students to use when they are publishing their writing.
