I grew up in St Louis, earned a BS in business from Boston College and then graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. After so many years in Denver, I consider myself a “near” native of Colorado.

I began my journey with LPS as a 15 year volunteer when my kids started kindergarten at Eugene Field. My neighbor teased me that once my own kids had graduated from LHS, I had to go get a few hundred more. Prior to Ford, I was at Mark Twain Elementary as Registrar and then Office Manager.

Through my experiences as a LPS parent, I so deeply believe in the power of public education and have seen the amazing opportunities that LPS offers our students. I love partnering with Dr. Justina Ford families and students- its such an AMAZING place!

Outside of school I volunteer as Colorado Master Gardener and I love to cook. My husband and I tend a tiny “farm” with chickens, Koi and a big garden with our dogs Kirby- a rescue “Labradork,” and Howie our pandemic puppy.
