- Zoology degree from Texas A&M University (1995)
- Worked with sea turtle researchers in TX and Costa Rica (1993-1995)
- Worked with cuttlefish and giant squid during an internship at UT Texas in Galveston
- Secondary Science Teaching Certification from Sul Ross State University (1996)
- Worked for the cruise lines one year and traveled the world! (1998)
- Worked for Sea World's Education Dept for one year! (1999)
- Moved to Colorado in 2002 but still a lot of Texan in me. HA!
- Masters in Curriculum and Instruction (2009)
- I love reading, gardening and playing with my dog!
- Married to Mike Rudolph (physics teacher at HHS)
- We have one daughter born in 2008
- Spent one year teaching science in Costa Rica 2013-14
- 20 + years teaching science...high school and middle school...YAY!
