About Mrs. Lewis

Jill Lewis

Hello Ford Foxes! I'm Jill Lewis and I serve as a school psychologist here at Ford Elementary. My journey in LPS began in 2005 at Ames Elementary, followed by 12 years at Franklin Elementary. I'm now entering my 24th year in this field, and I continue to be passionate about working with students, staff and families to improve student success.

When I'm not wearing my school psychologist hat, you can find me spending time with my family and friends. I grew up in Colorado exploring the great outdoors and I still love being outside exploring and playing in this great state of ours! As a mom to three girls, ages 21, 19 and 16, I've learned to cherish every minute (they grow up so fast!!). Our family of five enjoys camping, boating, paddle boarding, hiking, taking walks, cooking, playing games, and LAUGHING.

Growing up my dream was to work in the school setting as a teacher, but I was also drawn to the mental health field. When I learned about the role of the school psychologist, I felt it was a match made in heaven! I completed my Bachelor's and Educational Specialist Degree at the University of Northern Colorado.

I feel very grateful to be a part of the Dr. Justina Ford Elementary community! Go Foxes!

Sienna

Sienna is our very lovable Yellow Labrador. She is goofy and reminds us often to find the joy and silliness in everyday moments.

Such a serene picture, right?! You'll never believe what happened seconds after this picture was taken!! I love to share stories (especially when they relate to using coping skills)!
