Paraprofessional Team

Audrey Jessen

My name is Audrey Jessen and I’m very excited to be part of Dr. Justina Ford Elementary! This will be my second year as a paraprofessional in LPS. Prior to this, I spent four years as a substitute teacher in Denver Public Schools. I am a Colorado native who grew up in Louisville. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Refinement and Master’s degree in Engineering and Technology Management from the Colorado School of Mines but found my passion is in education and not engineering. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Brian, for 18 years. I have two children, Talie and Nick, who attend Heritage High School - Go Eagles! In my free time I love to travel, I have visited 43 states and Australia three times (we have family that lives there). I also enjoy reading and exploring Colorado. My family’s goal is to visit all of Colorado’s 42 state parks and so far we’ve been to 28. I look forward to working with this great team and I’m excited to jump in and help Ford Elementary get off to a terrific start!
